We here at StickerNewz would like to introduce a new friend and sponsor to our family. His name is Irving Dempsky.
Today's StickerNewz Report will be a tribute to Irv - His life, His War record and his career as the Owner of the Nation's Largest Recreational Vehicle Dealership. At the end of the segment you will probly be expecting me to say that "Irv died today" but I have chosen not to cause he's still alive and well. But just how did Irv get to be alive and well? That will be the question we hope to answer today.
BIT OF HISTORY
It all started back in '42. Not 1942, 1842! It all started back in '42 when Irv's great grandfather, Irv, was born. Irving Westinghous Dempsky. A coal miner from Chillicothe, Ohio. Irving Westinghous was the son of a local pioneer named Irv - Irving Spontaneous Dempsky. Now it is this Irv that we are not necessarily interested in. But his Aunt; His Aunt Broomhilda Westinhous Smith. Broomhilda was born in 1766. Now she played a pivotal roll in Irv becoming a Recreational Vehicle Seller. Her nickname was Broom and her middle nickname was West. Her last name did not have a nickname cause it was already Smith. Already Nicked, you might say. One day Simon Legree admonished her to " Broom West young lady". "Broom West!" Broomhilda figure that what Simon's admonition meant was to "go west". So, that she did. In the Fall of 1793 Broomhilda and her children packed up all their worldly belongings and set out for the Great and unadulterated territory of California. Ah, California....there's too much to talk about so we're gonna skip all that history mumbo jumbo and skip up in time to the year 2005. Ah, 2005. Wait a minute, that's now. Ok, now we're back to now. We'll be right back after a word from one of our sponsors.

Welcome back to the StickerNewz Report for this 23rd day of April, 2005. We have been looking at the history that surrounds Irv. Right now I want to look at his life. Irv is a member of the Knights of Columbus.... or whatever that group that wears those funny monkey hats is. Remember the Hoboken allnighter where the ninety or so of them jumped out of a six thousand ton cake? I laughed so hard I could hardly finish eating the entire cake. Irv plays bridge once a week with his wife Matilda and their neighbors, the Maynerds. It is Irv's wife Matilda that we want to look at here. Matilda Westinghous Demsky. Her maiden name is Demsky. So her monogram has always been M.W.D. (why do they call it a monogram if there's more than one letter?). Anywho, that's neither here nor there and what not and pretty much all we got to say about Matilda.
It is at these weekly bridge games that the real Irv comes to the surface. To be honest, the real Irv doesn't just come to the surface at the bridge games, it is always on the surface. Irv doesn't give jack about his wife or kids, the Maynerds, his RV dealership or anything else in existence. Irv is interested in one thing only. His Military record! StickerNewz, in conjunction with Bob's Private Eye and Bathhouse, planted a bug underneath the bridge table at the Maynerd's house. Last week we recorded a typical bridge game there. We are going to listen to this recording and get your feedback.
Stay with us.
